What is JULÄINE™?
JULÄINE™ is an injectable biostimulator containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material with an established history of use within medicine.
Its advanced PLLA-LASYNPRO™ microsphere technology is designed to stimulate collagen production within the tissues.
PLLA-LASYNPRO™
As new collagen develops over the following weeks and months, the skin gradually gains improved support, firmness and quality, helping to soften the appearance of lines and creasing.
What makes JULÄINE™ different?
The advanced characteristics of JULÄINE™’s PLLA-LASYNPRO™ technology allow appropriately trained practitioners to use specific treatment techniques in selected areas that may not traditionally be treated with some other PLLA biostimulators.
This is particularly exciting for areas around the lower face and mouth, where simply adding volume isn’t always the answer.

JULÄINE™ is specifically indicated by the manufacturer for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial folds. Treatment of other areas is offered following individual medical assessment and in accordance with our practitioners’ advanced training and clinical judgement.
JULÄINE™ or dermal filler?
Although both are injectable aesthetic treatments, they work differently.
Dermal filler
Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are primarily used to replace lost volume, enhance facial contours or provide targeted structural support.
JULÄINE™
JULÄINE™ is a collagen biostimulator. Its purpose is to encourage your body’s own regenerative response, making it particularly interesting for patients who want to improve lines, firmness and skin quality without necessarily adding volume.
In some cases, the two treatments can complement each other as part of a wider facial rejuvenation plan.
What happens during treatment?
Your treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation and facial assessment with one of our medical practitioners.
We will assess your facial anatomy, skin quality, movement and areas of collagen loss, as well as discussing your medical history, previous treatments and what you would like to achieve.
If JULÄINE™ is suitable for you, it is carefully injected into selected areas using techniques designed to achieve controlled and even distribution within the tissues.
As with any injectable procedure, temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. All potential risks and aftercare will be discussed fully before treatment.
How many JULÄINE™ treatments will I need?
JULÄINE™ is designed as a course of treatment rather than a one-off procedure.
The treatment works by gradually stimulating your own collagen production, so the improvements continue to develop rather than relying on an immediate volumising effect.
Following your initial course, we will review your results and discuss whether further treatment or future maintenance would be beneficial.
When will I see results?
JULÄINE™ works progressively, so results are not instant.
As your body produces new collagen, improvements develop gradually over the following weeks and months. You may begin to notice softer lines, improved firmness and an overall improvement in the quality and support of your skin.
The aim is for you to look fresher and rejuvenated without looking as though you’ve obviously had an aesthetic treatment.
